Roj Jayaphorn is a Thai/German advertising, music video and short film director based in Bangkok. His work covers a versatile range of style from heart-warming documentary to the more crafty stop-motion animation. Despite being in the early stage of his directing career, Roj has won more than a handful of awards from major advertising festivals across the region such as AdFest and SPIKE.
Roj graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Communication from the International Christian University in Tokyo and a Specialist Degree in Film and Broadcasting from Tokyo Visual Arts College. After graduation he began his career as an Assistant Director at Phenomena (Thailand) and later became a Director at Aoi Pro (Japan). Roj is currently a freelance Film Director.
